Cottage #4 Northern Michigan, 2 Bedroom Cottage

The cottage was exceptional - clean, modern, great beds and the host was very prompt and helpful. The location is perfect - short walk into one of the best small towns in Michigan - right across the street from Michigan's most beautiful lake. I'll be back !!!

Nice and simple. Could use more kitchen towels/rags and thicker hot pads. A little stuffy smelling. Sort of like smoke but maybe a strong dry cleaners smell. So could definitely use some fresh smells.

The cottage was great, two friends from downstate came up and we stayed here. It was amazing. Though one complaint was the toilet is so close to the bathroom door, like un-necessarily close. That was our biggest complaint. Other issue, which wasn't really an issue we had no problem moving the car, was parking spots. Cabin 4 is the only one without proper parking near the door of the cabin. Parking spot was marked as behind the cabin, according to map we where send after arriving, which depending on vehicle size would be in the way of other cars or trucks. We parked on side of cabin, there was plenty of room for other vehicles to get around. I slept on the couch and was quite comfy, the other two had the actual beds in the bedrooms. They didn't have any complaints about those. The kitchen while small was great for a vacation, appreciated having kitchen materials available, and not having to travel with all cooking utensils. Will happily stay again. The two issues are the only reason not giving five stars, but would otherwise give 5. Though would like to recommend they send out parking map in email or on dashboard, so people know where to park before they arrive.

Such a wonderful little slice of heaven. We love Lake City & will definitely be back to stay longer!! Perfect for a small family like us!! Great communication, thank you again!
